We know for students looking for suitable accommodation is a very stressful task. For many of our
students you are house-hunting for the first time. This is why we make all our process as clear
and straight forward as possible, this makes looking for accommodation a task you look forward to doing.
Our process for viewing the accommodation is very simple all you need to do is pop into our office
which is located by Birmingham University on the Bristol Road or give one of our friendly staff a
call on 0121 471 4122. They will then deal with any questions or enquiries you might have.
Approximately 90% of our accommodation is located within a 20-minute walk to either Birmingham
University or the Local train station, for students who need access to other University’s or
Hospitals within the city centre this is ideal. All our accommodation has to meet our specific
criteria in relation to health and safety, fire and gas and electrical safety.

Once you have come into the office you will fill in an application form. Sign your contract and
hand in your deposits (If deposits are not handed within an acceptable period of time the property
will be re-advertised) Each tenant will be expected to pay a deposit of one months rent (by cash
or cheque) as his or her share of the full deposit due on the property. In the case of University
students a Parental Guarantee will be required from each member of the group
We also do a detailed Inventory for you to check through. This also includes a Schedule of the condition
of the property and includes pictures of the property, this is done to protect your deposit.
